Large decked surface incorporating koi pond in Peckleton

Project completed in Leicestershire, September 2007

Design and construction of a large decked surface extending out from the elevated rear of the property, and also incorporating a sunken koi pond.

Project Details

Key Features:

  • Very large composite deck structure (including matching handrail system) that had to be raised off sloping ground by up to 1.8m.
  • Concrete block, render and resin lined koi pond that had a finished depth of 1.5m. Incorporating complete multi-stage filtration system and rainwater catchment.

Materials:

  • Ecodek composite decking system comprising of boards and matching handrails in light brown.
  • Travertine limestone paving adjacent to property and around koi pond.
  • Oasis multi-stage vortex filtration system.
